Grammar in Indonesia language 🇮🇩

Basic Indonesian word order is similar to English. Generally, sentences begin with a subject, followed by a verb (also called a predicate), and then an object.
formula : S+P+O+K ....
S = Subject
P = Predicate / verb
O = Object
K = Information (if u have) example = at cafe, in yesterday, with you, etc

It's good news that Indonesian verbs don't change depending on tense. Indicating the past or future tense only requires inserting words that indicate the time, in a very regular system.

Example [Contoh] :

-Present tense-
1. Aku sedang menonton TV = I am watch TV
2. Aku sedang bermain bola = I am play football
3. Aku sedang makan mie = I am eat noodles

-Past Tense-
1. Aku sudah menonton TV = I had been watch TV
2. Aku sudah bermain bola = I had been play football

-Future Tense-
1. Aku akan menonton TV = I shall watch TVlz
2. Dia akan mengunjungi neneknya besok = She will visit her grandmother tomorrow

-Past Future Tense-
1. Aku akan masak dirumah Geri kemarin = I would cook in Geri house yesterda
2. Dia bilang mau berenang kemarin = She said that she would be swimming yesterday.

As you noticed in the examples above, the word "sedang", indicate current activities, the word "sudah", indicate completed actions, while the word "akan", indicate future activities.
