Active and passive sentences in Indonesian 🇮🇩

1. Kalimat aktif (active sentence) 

• Struktur (structure) :

Subjek + Predikat (me+kata kerja) + Objek + Keterangan (subject + predicate (me+verb+...) + object + information) 

• Contoh (example)  

- Umi membuat sebuah kue stroberi di dapur (Umi make a strawberry cake at kitchen)

- Rina menulis sebuah cerpen di kamar (Rina writes a short story)

- Opet menendang bola (Opet kick a ball) 

- Dia menyupir mobil (He drive the a car) 

- Mereka membaca buku (They read a book) 

2. Kalimat pasif (passive sentences) 

•Struktur (structure) :

Objek + Predikat (di+kata kerja) + Oleh + Subjek   (object + predicate (di+verb+...) + by + subject + information) 

• Contoh (example)  

- Kue stroberi dibuat oleh Umi hari ini (A strawberry cake is made by Umi today)

- Sebuah cerpen ditulis oleh Rina di kamar (A short story is written by Rina at bedroom)

- Bola ditendang oleh Opet (The balls kicked by Opet) 

- Mobil disupir oleh dia (The car is driven by him)

- Buku dibaca oleh mereka (The book is read by them)
